ABOUT US

9Carrots started when our grandfather ate 9 carrots one day back when he was 63 years old. During his mid-life crisis, unsure with what he wanted to do with the rest of his life as all of his kids left the house, he felt out of tune with what he really wanted to do. His family told him to take a walk in our garden in the mountains of China. When he saw the intricate details of the leaves of carrots, he was fascinated.
 Something called him to harvest 9 carrots from the Earth that he then ate on his journey. After returning home in deep meditation with his feet touching and connecting with the soil and the earth, he had a sudden urge to start painting. His creativity sparked up, something he had tucked away for years since he was a hardworking man. His art continues to inspire us today and we too have sought this natural way of increasing our creativity.

Creativity

After eating 9 carrots that first day, our grandpa had a spark of creativity. That remains true for people who continue to eat 9Carrots a day. Things like painting, writing, making music, woodworking, jewelry making, wheel throwing, have all come to fruition in such extreme ways with 9Carrots.
